Flickard is a way of sending picture messages to people. The motivation for the idea was that 'sometimes words are not enough...'. The idea was to combine Flickr with the functionality which allows people to write their messages on images from Flickr and turn it into customized greetings. Several times it happens that you come across pictures and you want it to send it to your loved ones, at least it happened it to me when i came across an extremely romantic picture and wanted it to send it to my girlfriend(ex) with the thought the image evoke. Not knowing any image editing tool, it took me a long time to convert my idea into an actual greeting but with Flickard it is a minutes-task. Here is what I wanted to do :
